Student Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log in to Buff Portal
2. In the top right of Buff Portal, open your profile.
3. Open “Account Settings.”
4. Select “Profile and Privacy.”
5. In the page that opens, select “Phone Numbers.”
6. Verify the information under “Cell/Mobile.” 
   1. If you have a phone number in this field and have not previously opted out of CU Boulder Alerts, your number will be included in future CU Boulder alerts. 
   2. If you need to add a Cell/Mobile number, select the “Add a Phone Number” button and add a “Cell/Mobile” number. 
7. Select “Save.”

Note: If you see a login page after selecting “Profile and Privacy,” log out of Buff Portal and then log back in to restart your session.
