Boulder Police are investigating a burglary in the 1000 block of Pleasant Street, looking for community assistance Around 3 a.m. on March 29, 2024, Boulder Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Pleasant Street to respond to a reported burglary. Officers quickly arrived on scene and scoured the area, unable to locate the suspect. Information provided at the scene was that the male resident woke up in his room to another male searching through his belongings. The resident chased the male suspect out of the house and the suspect indicated he had a gun. There was no visual confirmation of a gun, only verbal. The suspect is described to be a white male with darker complexion who was wearing a grey hoodie and multicolored hat. At this time, there is no threat to the community. Boulder Police detectives are still investigating this incident and are asking that anyone with any information or security camera footage of the incident to contact Sergeant Meehan at meehanp@bouldercolorado.gov.

Shelter in place lifted. Suspect still at large, continue to use caution in the area.

3:51 a.m.

Suspect is a nonwhite male, 5’10”, carrying three backpacks and wearing a gray hoodie and a colorful hat. Shelter in place and/or avoid the area.

3:31 a.m. 

Armed burglary/menacing near 10th and Pleasant on the Hill. Police are responding. Shelter in place and/or avoid the area.
