Four suspects were charged in the incident, three of whom were juveniles. The suspects are not affiliated with the university.
Upon further investigation, CUPD was able to determine the weapon in question was an air pistol that shoots BBs. This type of air pistol makes sounds similar to gunshots.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call CUPD at 303-492-6666.
There is no danger to the campus community.

At approximately 3 a.m., CUPD responded to reports of a noise complaint at Weber Hall. As police were breaking up a large party, there were reports of shots fired in a parking lot outside. CUPD identified and apprehended suspects, who were taken into custody. There were no serious injuries reported. CUPD is currently investigating.

Suspects have been identified and are in custody. Shelter in place has been lifted. There is no threat to campus. CUPD is investigating.

Reports of shots fired in the area of Will Villl. Police are responding. Shelter in place and avoid the area.
