30th and Baseline Assault and Robbery

[1:00 p.m. | Friday, June 09]

 

UPDATE: At approximately 3:15 a.m. CU Boulder Police responded to a loud party complaint at CU Boulder’s Weber Hall, Bear Creek Apartments. After disbanding the loud party, the officers immediately responded to an assault and robbery in the area outside Weber Hall.

It was reported to police that three males assaulted a male victim in the Bear Creek Apartments parking lot, then chased him into an adjoining area. Police believe he was then robbed of some of his possessions. The victim sustained injuries to his head and face and was transported to Boulder Community Hospital. 

It is unknown if the suspects were armed with weapons of any type.  

The three suspects left the area in what was described as a newer, royal blue Toyota Camry 4-door sedan with Colorado license plates.

The three suspects are all described as Black males, aged 20-24.  The police investigation is ongoing.

Police would like to identify and speak with three persons of interest that may have witnessed the robbery and assault. 

The first person of interest is described as having short, shaved black hair and a beard and wearing a black Scarface hoodie, light blue jeans, and gray tennis shoes with red accents.

The second person of interest is described as having short, shaved black hair and was wearing black track pants with vertical white stripes on the sides, a white/light gray hoodie, and black and white tennis shoes.

The third person of interest is described as having black dreadlocks approximately 6 inches in length, a gray hoodie with black sleeves, sweatpants that are gray on top to just above the knee and black from the knee to the ankle, and black tennis shoes.  

Please note that race, ethnicity, gender, and/or religious affiliations are not considered the basis for suspicion; only behaviors are considered suspicious.

CU EMERGENCY ALERT 2:  Suspects are three Black males. Last seen in royal blue 4-door Toyota Camry. Unknown license plates.

CU EMERGENCY ALERT:  An assault occurred at 30th and Baseline area at Williams Village. Police are responding. Avoid the area.
