The University of Colorado Boulder police dispatch received an unconfirmed bomb threat regarding CU Boulder’s Norlin Library around 11:20 a.m.
Out of an abundance of caution, Norlin Library and neighboring buildings, Ketchum and Ramaley, were evacuated and CUPD K-9 units were deployed.
CUPD determined the bomb threat was false, and the evacuation order was lifted at 1:14 p.m., and no injuries were reported. Norlin Library remains closed for the rest of the day. CUPD will escort students into Norlin Library to retrieve belongings as needed. Classes have resumed at Ketchum and Ramaley. Classes in all other buildings are continuing as scheduled.
With recent and current events, the Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) advocate counselors will be available in the University Memorial Center (UMC), near the CU Book Store, until 4 p.m. today offering support to students and employees.
Counseling & Psychiatric Services is open for drop-in services for students until 5 p.m. today and is available 24/7 by phone by calling 303-492-2277. More information about support services is available here.
CU affiliates who did not receive an alert and think they should have should check their settings following the instructions for students and for faculty and staff available on the alerts.colorado.edu website.

Evacuation order lifted for Norlin Library, Ketchum and Ramaley. CUPD can escort students into Norlin for belongings as needed. Norlin remains closed today.
