Boulder Fire-Rescue, CU Boulder Police and other public safety agencies are responding to a hazardous materials call at SEEL (Sustainability, Energy and Environment Laboratory) at 4001 Discovery Drive, at CU Boulder’s East Campus.
Earlier today, the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department (CUPD), along with multiple local and federal agencies, assisted the Boulder Police Department (BPD) in response to a reported incident at Boulder High School (BHS).
CU ADVISORY: Police presence continues in response to a shots fired incident at the Millennium Harvest House Boulder hotel at 1345 28th Street. Suspect is in custody and there is no threat to campus.
CU ADVISORY: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office has issued an evacuation order for the Sunshine Canyon area due to a wildland fire. There are no immediate threats to the CU Boulder campus. Boulder Police are currently investigating two incidents that occurred early the morning of Oct. 2 in the University Hill neighborhood. The first involved an exchange of gunfire with police and the second involved felony menacing with a gun. There is no threat to campus.
Boulder Police have apprehended a suspect in connection to a series of crimes in the University Hill neighborhood.
The 700 block of 20th street is currently closed while Boulder Police assist in executing a warrant. Please avoid the area.
